Starring the likes of Cillian Murphy as J. Robert Oppenheimer, Florence Pugh as Jean Tatlock, Emily Blunt as Kitty Oppenheimer, Robert Downey Jr. as Lewis Strauss, Matt Damon as Leslie Groves Jr., and Gary Oldman as Harry S. Truman among many others, the film documents the journey of the controversial physicist as he invents the atomic bomb.

 Somewhat hinting at the contents of the film, the trailer seems to revolve around Oppenheimer’s hesitation concerning his own invention, and its destructive potential when left in the wrong hands. 

Murphy’s words resonate throughout the short clip, “We imagine a future, and our imaginings horrify us. 

They won’t fear it, until they understand it. And they won’t understand it, until they’ve used it. Theory will take you only so far. 

I don’t know if we can be trusted with such a weapon. But we have no choice. Is anyone ever going to tell the truth about what’s happening here?”

Infamous for an invention that has taken the lives of millions, Oppenheimer was involved in the Manhattan Project, a government-supported effort aimed at the discovery, creation, and utilization of nuclear weapons. 

An armament so immense in power, the formation of this particular weapon turned the tides of World War 2, and to this day remains an active deterrent in the prevention of all-out global war. 

The film is based on the biographical novel ‘American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J. Robert Oppenheimer’ by Kai Bird and the late Martin J. Sherwin.

“The Interest of Love” has hinted at how Yoo Yeon Seok and Moon Ga Young’s relationship turns sour!

“The Interest of Love” is a romance drama about four individuals with different interests who meet each other at the Yeongpo branch of KCU Bank and come to understand the true meaning of love. 

Yoo Yeon Seok plays Ha Sang Soo, a man who wishes for nothing more than normalcy as he goes through each day with an unshakable stance. 

But the stable hold he has on his emotions and thoughts begins to waver as he falls for his co-worker Ahn Soo Young (Moon Ga Young), who does not easily give her heart away to just anyone.

The newly released teaser begins by first giving a glimpse at how Ha Sang Soo manages to score a date with the seemingly unattainable Ahn Soo Young. 

Unlike others who are caught up in their prejudice that the gorgeous and elegant Ahn Soo Young would already have a boyfriend, Ha Sang Soo takes his chances and boldly sends a text message to Ahn Soo Young, “I would like to meet you this weekend.”

The two make viewers’ hearts flutter when they’re walking together on the street after their date, with shy stolen glances and subtle tension in the air and distance so close their hands nearly brush up against one another. 

When it’s time for them to part ways, Ahn Soo Young says, “I don’t like ambiguous relationships,” to which Ha Sang Soo replies, “I also like things that are certain and neater,” suggesting that their relationship is gradually developing.

And then the teaser suddenly cuts to Ha Sang Soo hearing a rumor that has been circling around inside the bank. 

The employees gossip that Ahn Soo Young personally made and gave Jung Jong Hyun (Jung Ga Ram), a security guard at the KCU Bank, a lunch box and that they’re now dating.

Realizing the sudden switch to Ahn Soo Young’s attitude toward him, Ha Sang Soo confesses, “Soo Young, but you know how I feel,” but Ahn Soo Young dismisses him coldly, “I don’t want to know.”

“Crash Course in Romance” is a new romance drama starring Jeon Do Yeon and Jung Kyung Ho on tvN’s upcoming drama. The drama will tell the warm but cold and sweet yet thrilling story of people who have to deal with the endlessly competitive nature of entrance exams. 

“Crash Course in Romance” follows the bittersweet scandal between an owner of a side dish shop who belatedly enters the world of entrance exams and a star instructor in Korea’s elite private education sphere.

Jung Kyung Ho stars as Korea’s No. 1 math instructor Choi Chi Yeol. In his teaser, Choi Chi Yeol surprises viewers when he suddenly whirls and capers in a sharp suit and black umbrella reminiscent of the “Kingsman” series. 

The professional and smart Choi Chi Yeol even wows viewers when he nails some hard moves and barely breaks a sweat while doing so. When he finishes his dance routine, he stares directly at the camera while saying, “Pride Maketh Math. Choi Chi Yeol’s lecture for math,” and the teaser finally lets viewers know that the video is Choi Chi Yeol’s advertisement for his lectures.

The second teaser features Jeon Do Yeon as Nam Haeng Sun, a former handball national athlete turned passionate side dish shop owner. 

Her teaser first starts with Nam Haeng Sun facing backward, giving viewers a good look at her past national athlete’s uniform with the word “Korea” proudly spread out across her back. 

As she turns around, there are various mouthwatering side dishes displayed in front of her. The banner on top introduces her shop’s name—National Representative Side Dish Shop—while the other banner reads, “I make this with the mindset of a national representative.”

No, stop the debates, live-action doesn’t reign supreme here—Shameik Moore’s charming animated portrayal of the black-suited Miles Morales is. The prodigy wall-crawler makes his much-awaited return with the trailer for ‘Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse’.

Seemingly down, cathartic, and even discontented, the trailer opens up with a much older Miles Morales being confronted by his mother who has noticed his soured mood. And although the reason behind this is not revealed, she asks him to promise her that he would ensure that the little boy inside him continues to be loved, supported, and accepted wherever his adventures take him. 

Throughout this short monologue, clips from the critically-acclaimed 2018 “Into the Spider-Verse” are shown, eventually culminating in the return of Hailee Steinfeld’s ‘Spider-Gwen’, Gwen Stacy popping out of a portal and asking him “Miles, wanna get out of here?”.

We are then taken into this alternate universe filled with different variations of the beloved web-slinger—if you think the first movie’s inclusion of Peni Parker, Spider-Ham, Peter Parker, and Spider-Man Noir was enough, think again. 

The trailer also includes the first appearances of Issa Rae’s motorcycle-riding Spider-Woman and Oscar Isaac’s Spider-Man 2099. 

Paradise to some, apparently hell for our young budding hero. Towards the end of the trailer, we cut to him being fiercely chased by an endless wave of Spidermen—I know some of you would like that. 

Eventually, he asks Stacy “Who do you think you are, really?”. To which she replies, “We are supposed to be the good guys”. 

“Across the Spider-Verse” will be released on June 2, 2023. Its sequel, “Beyond the Spider-Verse,” is set for March 29, 2024. According to Variety, in addition, a female-led spinoff movie, focusing on Gwen Stacy, Jessica Drew, and the character Cindy Moon, is currently in development. 

The film is directed by Joaquim Dos Santos, Kemp Powers, and Justin K. Thompson, with the script written by Phil Lord, Christopher Miller, and David Callaham. Miller Lord, Amy Pascal, Avi Arad, and Christina Steinberg serve as producers, alongside executive producers Peter Ramsay and Aditya Sood.
